No ! He was asking for $600 and $700 amps in his other threads

Understand the Helix may the best available, but I still need 6 channels. Any other recommendations?

For instance the ARC XDi 450.4 can be had for ~300... I would need 2 so total $600.00

In that price range are also the

ARC 1200.6

Arc 900.6

Zapco Z150.6

All very high end amps with way more power then I actually need

"Anything" else even come close to those?

Clarion XC6610 is rated for 85Wx6 @ 4 ohms. It has a noise-free neutral sound.

I believe in using 1 amplifier instead of 2 if the results are going to be better. I hate giving up more space, and I dislike running more wires than the job could have required with less equipment. To that end result, 1 6-channel amp is better than 2 amps. The Clarion is Class D, so it will be more efficient as well.

Staggering the power output is really not necessary when running active, although there are situations in which it can be beneficial, such as grossly dissimilar driver sensitivities.
