Help me find speakers/setup for strong mid-bass slam

So I am looking for complete overkill mid-bass chest thumps. I have been googling how to get that chest thump, but am still confused. Currently I have a 15'' ported NVX subwoofer with a 1500 watts RMS amp, but it doesn't give that chest thump. I read that I would need mid bass speakers, so if anyone has any recommendations or know a particular setup that has a crazy mid-bass slam that would be great. I was thinking maybe JBL Selenium 15WS600 or MTX RTX128, but I don't really know if they will give me what I want. So help if appreciated.
