I like the looks of that box alsoI used to have some MTX 7500s, iirc I put them in 3.75cf tuned around 35hz. They definitely wanted a bigger box and maybe even a bit lower of a tune like around 33hz. It was the 8th box I had built at the time and I wouldn't advise using 2x2s for bracing, they eat up a lot of space. 1 1/4 dowels seem to be the sweet spot for braces.

That Hifonics amp will barely tickle those 7500s, get a bigger amp along with a custom made ported box.
precut how?... the 4x8 sheets they'll cut on a panel saw for you... just watch em... they'll get sloppy sometimes
Agree 100%. I would strongly advise asking if the saw is squared or not before getting your desired pieces cut. Might throw off your dims for a loop. I learned the hard way....I'm sure I'm not the only one. Had a few pieces that were cut too short while others were too long.As someone who works for Home Depot and has used the panel saw, it's not easy to get accurate cuts. The saw has a rip blade and is horribly abused all day everyday. The measuring system on the saw is usually broken so you have to eyeball where the cut will be. I hate it. We tell customers it's not for precision cuts and accuracy is +/- 1/4inch.
Lowe's saw's will be even worse because they are a smaller company with fewer resources. I once had mdf cut at Lowes and they told me the same thing about the panel saw not being accurate and the blade actually sparked when they cut the wood because the blade was so dull and the company wouldn't replace it.
I might have been looking at the wrong subs.single 4ohm......mtx t7512-04
yeah u probably getting 250 per sub now.. u need bigger amp that does good power at 2 ohm and does more for later when u get new subs... u could look at the bigger skar amps or get cab 1600 like shredder has $199 1200rms @ 2 ohm, really probably be more than doubling your powersingle 4ohm......mtx t7512-04
See i could work with that price on a decent amp. Yall quit knocking my free amp.....Ive got power from the gods! It says so on the bottom of the amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifyeah u probably getting 250 per sub now.. u need bigger amp that does good power at 2 ohm and does more for later when u get new subs... u could look at the bigger skar amps or get cab 1600 like shredder has $199 1200rms @ 2 ohm, really probably be more than doubling your power
800@2ohms would be perfect for the pair. Ill go out and measure later but the box he posted i could squeeze in the back. Right now amps are under the back seat and subs are sitting on the back seat. I could always fold the seat down to give more room although id rather not.I might have been looking at the wrong subs.
Well wired at 2ohms you'll need a bit more amp. Shredder said a 1500w amp, I agree. Wired at 2ohm, feed the pair 600-800. I think they'll be happy on that and easy on the electrical.
That box that shredder posted, will it fit? I think I saw you said you had a truck..
How much room do you have to work with?
