Help me find a full ranger

I thought those were pretty much the same driver? I find the 88ex to be a great driver. Especially on the upper side compared to other wide band drivers. I'm not sure what tinny means, those audiophile terms baffle me sometimes.
The Founteks were OEM'd by Audible Physics. In the AP3's they changed the cone material to some magnesium or titanium. I forget which.

they are very fragile, they are impressive though. I keep putting off buying some for some dumb reason.
I think I'm gonna grab a set of them some time soon and if all else fails and that flange is too big for my pillars, just use them in the house for some desktop speakers or something.

Hey those mark audio will fit in your dash.

I have a scion TC.

I'm using the mark audio mids on axis.

I built some pods & they are xover around 315 high pass, slope 6.

You will need to play with the xover points to figure out what might sound good to your ears

Still on this idea. Thinking, if I go full range, I want to go 3 inch or smaller but would really like them to be able to play down to 300hz.

So far, I'm considering:

ES 02 BL

AF 256/020 Accent Fill

Markaudio Alpair-6P Paper Cone 3.5" Fullrange Gen 2: Madisound Speaker Store

Tang Band W3-593SF 3" Full Range Silver Cone Driver 264-809

Dayton Audio RS75-4 3" Reference Full-Range Driver 4 Ohm 295-380

I'm also considering going the coaxial route. That way aiming won't be so crucial in even getting high frequencies since there will be a tweeter and I'll still have that point source up high. If I go that route, the coaxs I found are:

JBL GTO328 3-1/2" 2-Way Grand Touring Coaxial Car Speakers

JL Audio C2-350x 3-1/2" Evolution C2 2-way Speakers (C2350X)

Infinity Kappa 32.9cf 3-1/2" 2-way Speakers - Sonic Electronix

Focal 100CVX 4" 2-way Polyglass Series Speakers (100CVX)

Image Dynamics CTX-4 (CTX4) 4" 2-Way CTX Coaxial Car Speakers

or maybe even something like this:

DLS Reference R4 4" 2-way Reference Car Component Speaker System
