Hey guy's those dimensions i had were totally off what im going to do actually is use the same dimensions of the box i have no except cut it down shorted and make it so its sealed not ported here's the dimensions i got

Length of the box: 30 1/4

Width of Box: 17 3/8

from the bottom to the top of the box: 13 7/8s

No way man my friend can help me do the tuning and all that easy shops around here way to expensive like $100 or more when i could go buy the materials for $50 and make my own with my friends help:)

Huh...you're going to make the ported box you already have and cut it so it is smaller and make it a sealed box?!

Bwahahahahaha......

You can tune a sealed box but why do you want to go sealed over ported?

Build another box dippie.....$20-$25 for a sheet of 3/4" thick 4' x 8' MDF at HD.

Slap a T-guide on the circular saw and bam str8 accurate cuts....oh yeah,be sure to buy a fine cut/finishing blade...don't use a ripping blade.

If you can't get a saw or don't have one you can always buy one (helps to make more boxes and see what's best) or if you can't afford one you can have HD make the cuts for free but they cant do any cuts smaller then 12" and sometimes they are't level or straight cuts becuase of people focingthe blade instead of letting IT do he work....

Get your own Circular saw or borrow someones and get a T-guide for it.

Draw out a cut sheet and use that for making the cuts.

What size sealed box does Pioneer recommend for those subs?

End Note.....Ported gets ou louder.

I was asking everyone before of what kind of box i should make vented , ported or sealed i want those subs to really pound;) the specs for the subs is

Recommended Enclosure 0.85 ~ 1.75 Cubic Feet

Dimensions 13" x 7"

Mounting Depth 6-1/4"

go ported/vented....ported is the sme thing....

Ultimate....the one I have is 11 or 12"........just get the wood cut at HD a little over size and then measure the cuts you'll make yourself...you're t-guide is big enough seeing as you'll have the guy make each cut 2" more then what you have on your cut sheet ie;12" x 12" side wall would be cut 14" x 14" and then you cut the rest.
