and mine is actually sloppy compared to some others that have done it. do a little search on deadening a door and you will see some very nice installs.

Should I go all out and spend a grand to deaden the whole car?

you dont have to but it would be nice. i plan to on mine but i believe in overkill.

but if you can afford to spend that much on deadener by all means do so but really just depends on how extreme you plan to go with car.

i would say 2 layers over everything would be enough though so 500 should suffice
