Hey, help me pick out my mids and tweets!

HU: Denford 8250 ti

Sub: Eclipse/TC Sounds SW9122

Mids: ????

Tweets: ????

Amps: US AMPS 50 HC ULTRA for sub, USA-50X for the tweets and USA-50X for the mids - each 50X is 50RMS per channel.

Need suggestions for mids and tweets. Im leaning towards Dayton mids and Seas tweets. Im going for SQ. What do you guys run and how do you like them?

J

Look out for some mpyre (adire) mids or AA poly mids in the classifieds here and on diyma.

Should be able to pick up a set for about $100. Put another $100 into deadening. Go

with the seas neo 27's (allum or fabric, both good)

this sounds like a good plan but i would spend 200 on deadening for doors. i did on my car and was one of my best investments in my system.

Also a good way to balance out the extra weight from the subs in the trunk - jk:)

I see. Just curious about deadening, doesnt that seal off the window? What happens if I need to get behind the deading? cut it out and reapply?

Ive never used deadening. Im assuming that deadening on the doors will help create a better seal for punchier bass?

BTW deadening was on the list too , but i wanted to do research on it. Any suggestions?

for deadening i would buy a roll of raammat, a few yards of ensolite, and possibly a deflex pad. do 2 layers throughout entire door and apply an extra layer behind mid for extra durability. then a layer of ensolite over deadening on outer skin

on the inner skin put 2 layers and try to seal off holes. then do a layer of ensolite over that too. should be pretty solid.

and yes you would have to cut it to get to inside door if you needed to.

sorry my thoughts arent very organized

oh and i almost used an entire roll of raammat on my doors alone. actually if you include the initial 12sq of dynamat extreme i used i suppose i did use an entire roll //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Am I applying this to the frame, teh plastic that protects from water behind the door or both?
when you say plastic do you mean this?
