Help me choose subs...

Hey, this is the first time im getting subs for my car. I got a 2005 Dodge Stratus and im trying to decide between a couple subs. They are:

2 12" MTX Jackhammer JH4512 - 500 RMS, 86.7 db, 31-150 hz

2 12" Kicker Comp CVR - 400 RMS, 86.7 db, 27-500 hz

2 12" MTX Terminator TNE212D - 400 RMS

1 12" Alpine SWR 1222D - 500 RMS

Also, if you have any suggestions for a good amp that would be appreciated

I would get the Terminators and Jackhammers, they sound pretty cool.

Out of those I'd go Type R. Decide on your amp before you decide which voice coil configuration to buy. Otherwise you're wasting your time.

i was thinking about getting a power acoustik 1000 watt mono amp

If it's a 1000 watts rms @ 1 ohm you should get 2 DVC 4 ohm wired in parallel.
