Help me choose between these two subs!

I have a 2008 Altima Sedan w/ the Bose system. (No navigation)

I am debating between a 12in Diamond D3 or a 12in Fi X.

Im not looking for a large amount of RMS, just something that will add bass and SQ to compliment what the BOSE is missing. So I guess im leaning toward SQL

Hopefully I can get some of your opinions on these subs as well as what kind of amps to look at.

I can get a good deal on the D3 sub as well as a Diamond 300.2 amp.

Thank you for any advice you might be able to give me!

P.S. The reason im looking at the Fi X is because i used to have a 15in RE HC a few years back. Great sub, so I am confident that the quality and sound of the X would be good as well.

Diamond has decent stuff, the D3 is a good sub. I have no experience with the Fi X, however it is recommended frequently for subs in this range. Either would

do well in the right enclosure. In my opinion, I would get a little more powerful amp. For the budget conscious maybe the Hifonics HFi1000D or Kicker ZX450.2. That will give you a little headroom. There's lots of good budget amps in the 4-500W range, especially if you can wire down to 2 ohms. Do a little research, lots of info on here and other boards.
