Help Me Build My System

Alpine makes a power pack amp, that is class d, 4 channels, 45 x 4 at 4ohm or 2ohms, and 90 x2 at 4ohms, for about 150 it goes behind the hu in the dash. You have to get the universal unit, if you don't have an alpine hu. For a budget build, it may suffice for your needs.

If you don't mind buying used, check polk amps on eBay. Got a nice 4 channel from them for $80. It takes a lot of space but it's hard to beat that deal... They also have a couple monoblocks too. All refurbished equipment.

Gotcha. Well I took some measurements behind my seats and this is the space I have to work with.

Width: 52"

Height: 20"

Top Depth: 6"

Bottom Depth: 10"

According to the RE online sub builder, this size enclosure will give the box a volume of 3.24, much more than what I was expecting to fit back there. I'm now looking at getting 2 10" SD-2s. Thoughts? Let's talk wiring. I'm assuming 4 gauge?

Hmm seemed like 6 or 7 years ago everyone was using the RE box calculator haha. But let's just assume that I have roughly 3 cubic feet of space back there. That's still a good size for a couple 10s in a ported box right?

you have 3.5 cubes gross so thats good for a pair of SD 10s. I think @CSCStang did a box like that with the SD series before.

Yep actually got in contact with him today! He'll be building the box for my setup

oh wow thats a lot of space you got there...
Yeah I have a lot more space than what I had originally thought. Plus I'm 5'9" so the seats sit pretty close up.

Checking those out now. Thanks man you're a huge help.
