help me build my box

all right this maybe a lot to ask i would appreciate any help. i was converting a box from 2 12's sealed to 1 12 ported and screwed up the box so i'm starting over. i'm gonna build a box with a slot port tuned to 29 hz. for my idmax 12. my demensions are 33" wide 14" tall and 14" deep. i might be able to go a little deeper but not much. what i really want to know is how big to make the port. if anyone can come with like a drawing or diagram that would be great.

the problem i have is lets say my box is 2 cubes after sub displacement. i look up on the calculator what the port should be but then by putting in the port that will decrease the volume of the box and throw off the tuning. that's where i have trouble figuring out box tunning

Figure the total volume of the port.(including the mdf)

Add the volume of the driver (.1 ft if it's not specified).

Add the net volume you want.

Divide by the width you need, divide that by the height (inside dimensions)

That gives you the inside depth.

Just add on the 3/4 for your mdf on each end to get the outside
