This a prob one of the most important points that has yet to be made other then by dustin. If you take to shop to install. Lets just say 1amp, 1 sub, comp set you better be ready to give almost half your budget up to the shop for install cost. I assure you they will chrage a min of $250...

Well, actually, I didn't realize you were talking about custom enclosure the whole time. If it will be portable then it's easier for me just to get a box or something. Can you help me with the actual components?

are you thinking of going prefab(cheap pre-built enclosure)? If so you would just be wasting funds if you are considering getting anything decent(for your bass end).

It's just the fact that I'll have to spend more on enclosure than subs themselves makes me sick, and it's gonna turn out to be even more when you add the shipping fee.

my quotes were with shipping included(trust me they were low quotes as well).

I would look at a single 12 with a properly built enclosure. In most cases subs are going to run you $175+ per sub plus shipping.

How much would that cost me you think? Also, without accurate measurements would you be able to do it?

That would need to be built with the car in front me. Now way to build that any other way. A shop would charge well past a 1k for build I'm sure(no product included).
