Here's the deal... We (Dad & I) just surprised my mom with a brand new Chevy Malibu MaXX. This thing is SOWEEET!! Anyways, we proceeded to listen to the radio/CD's because our old car didnt have such "necessities" =( Problem is that she kinda complains about there being a shortage of bass in some of her songs... This is where I come in. I was thinking that I could hook her up w/ a small compact system to give her a slight boost in bass while not losing trunk space or overpowering the stock components. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of this...

RE 8"

.5 cu. ft sealed box

50 wrms amp

Im hoping to do this under $100 since an RE 8 is $60 shipped, i need an amp that will give her about 50-75 wrms preferably in the $40-$50 range. I might go and check out some Wal-Mart amps here in the next few days. Any advice on a dirt cheap amp?

Drop a Buttkicker under her seat and feed it about 1000 watts. That ought to rock her world. I dunno, I hear girls like that sort of thing.

You can tell from the look on the face of the girl that's on their homepage picture:

an RE8 would be great. I would just do 2. Besides, they're cheap, small, and sound great. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
