HELP: MD2D and XXX disaster!!!!

you sure you got a + and a neg to the sub on the speaker wire? i did + + once and ...nothing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
wouldnt matter, considering the power/protect lights arent coming on...

im sure u didnt... but make sure i didnt hook the speakers in parallel and accidentally hook one + to a - and the other + to the other -, weird thigns can happen with small mistakes like that.
That wont blow an amp. Amps dont see polarity. You just wont get any sound.

at the amp end, you got both speaker wire on the left, are they pos and neg or both the same?-check.
yeah, it's + and - on either side on the MD2D - I could technically move them to the + and - on the right side if I wanted to. This is a mono amp, the extra set of inputs are just to make it more convenient wiring 2 subs.

E-Mail Greg@USamps.com

He was the first person that I talked to at USamps that gave good service. Jeremy is great...but USamps is tedering on my Fuck'm list. My MD2D had horrendous noise problems It is on it's way to Cali right now and gets there Wednesday. Hopefully it will be fixed.

Check your ground, thats the only thing left to check, when your using your dmm just put the - on your ground and positive on your amps + and see if you read 12 volts. Disregard this if you already did it this way, just makin sure.

I figured the ground was working because both amps are using the same ground w/ a distro block. If the ground was bad, I wouldn't have got a power reading, correct?

Yea, I believe mine is the opposite. Theres your problem
what's my problem? Please explain? Clearly my power is on the left and ground is on the right and that is how it's connected. Also, the owners manuals shows it this way.

Seems like it's dead but it's really unbelieveable that it could be since this was repaired once already. I would think US amps wouldn't send out a bad amp....twice! They must of tested it before they sent it. I really have bad luck with amps......

Yeah it should power up then, your sure your remote is getting power? If it is then that amp is doa.
