Ok i have a MA audio HK 1397 amp. Its' 1600 watts....well it's 400x2 @ 4 ohm stereo, 700x2 @ 2 ohm stereo, or 1600x1 @ 4 ohm Mono (Rms).... I have a s-10 extended cab. i was looking to upgrade from a single L7. I also have a 6F 16V cap if that helps.

I might do comps if they are by but mostaly a daily dirver. I lisen to Rock, Rap...well about everything

I was wanting to know how many and what subs i sould look at getting...My price for subs is around $500-700.

The Hard Kore-series amps from MA Audio, unfortunately, will not deliver rated output unless fed on a steady diet of 17 volts + (considerably more than your average vehicle's charging system can provide it) so please bear that in mind.

Unless you're feeding that unit 17 volts or more you'll never see that rated 1600 watts of bridged output. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

(not talking smack, fella, just stating fact)

Sorry, i heard that MA rates at 14.4 V. I did not know it was 17V....Well i got the amp off my friend for $150...How much do you think im getting out with my cap keeping a constant 14.5-14.8

Also what sub's would be an upgrade....Thanks for any help
