Well, got everything in yesterday sounds good works great. I have a kenwood MP4428 or something like that (cheapest model that plays MP3's). Today I went out to hook up a sub to see if it worked. Took the wires off the sub my amp is pushing put it on the new sub and it worked great. Took the wires off, then sound stop playing through my stock speakers. Sound still plays through the amp fine. I don't think any wires touched anywhere, there may have been a chance that they touched the bottom of the seat, but I don't think so. Sound just stopped playing throught the h/u.

I don't know, took out the hu and hooked up a speaker to the speaker outs on the hu, nothing. It plays cd's, tuner, sends sound to the amp and plays through the preouts, but no power from the internal amp.

Anything I can do, no warranty, I have it all apart, it doesn't look like anything is burnt on the board and it doesn't smell bad?

I don't know, any help. Thanks!

yeah, after further review, jibba jibba, maybe a little to much jibberish!

OK,

1. hooked up a different sub to my amp. just wanted to see if it worked before I sold it. It worked

2. unhooked that sub. then all the sudden.

3. no sound from the internal amp, factory speakers no-workie. (worked 30 secs before)

4. I don't believe there was much of anything else that happened, after I un-hooked the sub, those wires may have touched something metal on the car and grounded out, but I don't think they did. this shouldn't cause a problem like this though.

5. Take radio out, hook up different speaker to back of radio, No sound.

6. Radio works great, sends signal to amp and sub produces sound.

7. Everything works as should, just the H/u is not producing any sound from the internal amp, ie no sound from back of harness.

Hope that was a little better!

Any thoughts, thanks.
