Help installing comps.

I got my comps today and am going to be putting them in tomorrow. This is my first time installing comps so no flaming please. I plan on amping them also. Im a little confused as to how to wire the crossover. It has terminals for tweeter, woofer, and input. How would I go about amping them? Thanks alot!

i thought maybe i had to run wires from the headunit to the crossover or something..and its a Pontiac Grand Am. Thanks for the help.

Just run the rca's from the hu to the amp, then run speaker wire from the amp to the input of the cross over, then wire the tweeter and woofer. Since you get to start from scratch I recommend not putting the crossover in the doors. I will be spending tomorrow moving mine under my seat and rewiring them.
