While 4 awg is sufficient for decent power installs, people that truly want to upgrade in the future, use 0 awg wire.I personally only use 4 gage on all amp installs even 4 channel mids and hihg's cause you never know if someday you want to do a serious amp upgrade and need will need a 4 gage and when that happens you will be ready.
