Help identify this Kove sub and i'll thank you for it.

Picked this sub up in a trade

I know for sure it has dual 4 ohm coils and is the Armageddon series, but there are a few lines of Armageddon subs.

Looks like triple stacked magnets.

Either way im gonna run it.

Just wanted to know whats its name was

I googled the zm pro line but didnt see any specs

im guessing the usual 1.5-2.0 cubes ported to 33-35hz?

I would stay closer to the 2.0-2.25ft3 net(if this is a 12) with generous port area.

x2 on the ZM, the chrome on the basket gives it away, as I believe that was the only one that had the chrome accents like that.

Kove was not real keen on making sure labels were always put on...however, in some cases they were actually there lol...so it is worth a shot.

Still a ZM-Pro though...I remember selling them back in the day..but they did have a few lines that ended up reusing several of the same parts from frames to motors to dust caps...so I could be wrong..but I really don't think so.

put it in a 1.5 cube box tuned to 38hz....just used as a test box...

sounds good with 1000rms.

I think it needs a bigger box and more port area.

Yes, it needs more volume then that lol. They liked larger enclosures.

tuning will be around 34hz

not sure if the sub can take the 1000rms im feeding it or if its just the box being so small and the port being small also.
