1 18" or 2 18" louder?

Well right now I am in the process of redoing my setup, I have a RE MX 18", 2005 Ford Explorer with the 3rd row laid down, stock electrical, which is why I took a step back, sold my amp and am planning on starting over and doing it right this time.

You need a pair of 15's and to get away from re audio subs.

I haven't found any issues with RE as of yet, only had them for a week though. Someone suggested 5 10's.

MX should be a great sounding sub. I don't think it's supposed to be an SPL sub though so if your goal is to get as loud as possible you may do better.

You can easily get a single sub to be loud. Basic response for any future questions of this same sort. BOX, BOX, BOX. It's all about the box lol. Then follow that up with good electrical.

Re se sx mt xxx are all great subs.. The old ones. The mx had heating issues, so keep it ported and at rms or less. Still a good SQL sub.
