I don't know if he has ever heard Alpine, but this setup come with a warranty, free shipping and lifetime texh support. I have owned some Alpines and the MRP-500 amp and it sounded great.

Your welcome Bro! Let him know he can get the same set-up with 12's for only 30 bucks more. Since the subs and amp are matched, you won't have to worry about fighting for warranty coverage either. Lifetime tech support isn't bad either!

As much as I dislike Crutchfield and their overly marked up prices and customer support who wouldn't know a good sounding box if the matching RTA's slapped them in the face, that Alpine setup is a pretty good combo.
