help choosing sub

im looking for a single 12 that is loud but has sq im looking to spend around 250-300 just on the sub i listen to a lot of rap and rock and it will be used daily. i was looking at a rockford t1 or re audio sx 12. it has to fit in a small trunk of a honda prelude.

this would be my first choice 1200 watt rms get a nice 1500 watt amp and listen to this thing wang and sound amazing, old school american made beauty. cant believe their are still some new ones laying around.

TC sounds is good I'd look at that american bass one that was linked above too. If u got 250-300 for the sub itself dont settle get the best, you can afford some really beefy subs for that. I hope you got a nice amp to give her some juice. I like preludes, what generation is it?

Are you planning to build the box/buy the box/or have one built for you? Because depending on how much rock you listen to, i'd recommend a sealed box or a horn, maybe a 12 Deathbox that thing would decimate if you listen to a fair amount of rock and perfer bass Kick to bass rumble.

its a 01 prelude so the last generation and i plan on building the box im going to draw up some designs tomaro just measured my trunk. the amp im thinking a hifonics 1200w rms at 1 ohm well see
