New powerbass 4XL 15 or 18

I have been selling some powerbass xtreme products out of my shop for 6 months now, They seem to be good for the price. I just got a new book and they have the new 4XL sub line. They come in a 15 or 18. Powerbass talk's up the s*** out of this woofer. Has anyone ever ran or seen one??? They claim that you can strap 2 XA-4000D amps to it!!!! Lol @ the old thread bump.

Looks pretty beastly to me...looks more like a burp sub though, assuming the fs is the same as the low-end of the "frequency response" figures.

My buddy got one, traded 2 3XL's, an Xbox 360, and $100. Within 2 days, the leads on one coil snapped off. Of course, he's a "newb" and trying to use it in 2.6Ft^3 at 32hz...

Its an old thread, but for what its worth, the Power Bass products I've worked with (Xtreme series only) have been solid for the money. I spoke with a guy at a shop in N.O. Tuesday who is using a pair of these 12" on a pair of Audiopipe 2000 watt amps and is very impressed. I didn't hear it, but he likes em' better than the T3 T1000.
