no problem man, i know my answer wasn't the answer you were looking for, so sorry.Thank u for clarifying your original answer. I take back and apologize for my smartass remark. I'm just getting frustrated trying to put together a good system on a budget.
yup and the 880prs will do the same stuff and sound just as good w/o spending an extra couple hundred bucks.Something to think about. The 9887 can be used with Imprint Software/hardware bundle.
so far i like them both a lot. gobs of power!! i have an alternator noise i am still trying to fix. thats not the amps fault though. haven't had much time to really play with them. all i have been trying to do was fix the whine. i'm 99.9% sure it's cheap cables.tc guy..how do u like your digital designs amp?? I was looking at some used ones.
already tried it. the only thing that has helped so far was wrapping the rca's in an aluminum foil tape. that means i need rca's that are of quality and shielded.Hey TC. Try grounding the outside of the rcas at the hu to the hu case. Pioneer has had some issues with the decks, and that seems to fix it. Its a quick and easy test to eliminate the rcas and the HU. Also grounding the HU case has worked in some instances.
yea i guess my car is just noisy and the noise is being induced through the rca's. i ghetto sheilded them somewhat and the noise got a lot quieter so i guess the answer is new quality sheilded rca's. i'm gonna get some knukoncepts Krystal Kable.Well, At least you got a handle on it. Whine can be a ***** to chase down. Good luck.
