I have Orion 8004 amp and will be running the front components of two of the channels and bridging the last two channels to get 400 watts at 2ohms. I will be running a single 10in or 12in woofer and looking for good SQ as well as SPL. I have been considering the following subs; RL-i and the car audio favorite the Type R(not sure if I have enough power to run the type R) I would like to stay under $150.00 if possible.

Any suggestions would definately be appreciated!

Well I have the hyped up r's in my car and as far as my install goes they arent that great for sq. They seem more spl geared. If you want sq out of an alpine then get a type x. I am sure that is out of your pricerange though. You hit a good one with the rl-p. I would check in to those. I heard they have great sq and can get quite loud. Good luck.

Wish I had enough power for the rl-p, thats why I was looking at the rl-i 10in sub. Seems that they would match up decently. I also was looking at the diamond d6 10in sub.

What price does the ID hit for? thanks
