Hello!
In the near future, I will be running a full Polk Audio DB Series system powered by two Infinity Reference Series amps (~500 and 700 RMS each) and I would appreciate it if someone pointed me in the right direction when it comes to batteries. My friend currently has 1 of the amps, along with the sub that I am planning on purchasing and there's a large problem. I assume his car battery cannot keep up with his sub because of the fact that it (as in the sub/amp) "turns off" within about 5 minutes of use. With my car having 2 separate amps, I'm guessing that this will even be a larger problem, so I have two options in my opinion.
1. Purchase a battery to specifically power the sub and amp.
2. Purchase a battery to power the entire car, including 2 amps 4 150 watt rms speakers and 2 12" subs.
So what do you think I should do? Please note that I am attempting to keep this cost at around $100.00 hopefully, as my system will allready be setting me back nearly $2,000. Also, if you could tell me of a specific brand or battery to purchse, that would be excellent! If it matters, I live in Cincinnati, OH (I think you buy different types of batteries based on the climate of your area?)
Thanks much in advance!

I'll check back on this in a few hours to see if I didn't include enough information and respond if you have any further questions as well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
