HELP Can I use 2 types of kicker tweeters and still sound good???? Grade this setup -

Hi Guys

Please help me out here. I know a lot of people do not care for kicker but I'm getting a super deal on the stuff so I need to stay with kicker. That being said here here is the parts list I'm looking at. It's there top end stuff.

It's going in a 2014 Camaro.

The camaro have the stock speaker spot I was going to mount the Qss67 in and there tweeter as the tweeters are to big and will not fit up in the OEM spot by the window. I was thinking of getting a set of the kicker KST25 1" tweeters to use in the stock OEM spot. Would this sound good?

The QS tweeters are DuPont Tetoron And the KST25 are silk dome

Awesome car! Personally, I would not spend my own money on kicker products, specifically their subwoofers. How good of a "deal" are you getting? If it is from a shop that you do not work at, chances are it isn't a good deal. There are much better products in that price range. Please don't put all Kicker gear in that Camaro!

Kicker is fine unlike what was said earlier. Kicker product is good, just broke people talk **** bc they can't afford it. Same with JL and RF. I don't understand your setup, you have a DSP and a kq30 but no line out conversion. You have 3 amps but only 2 amp kits. I'd go with a zxsum8 into the front row. Get one PKD1 amp kit. You need to get different RCAs too. Don't use different tweeter, make it fit. It's really not that hard.

To the OP: 75% off is a pretty "well, if its that cheap then why not" area. Kicker's amp kits are great. Oversized wire, good enough RCA's. Their amp's aren't bad either. Just slightly expensive for what they are. It's their sub/speaker line where things get shady. If I were you i'd use that discount on a few amp kits and amps but get some better speakers/subs. It's not worth the bad quality, even at 75% off, and especially in a brand new Camero. 75% off sh*t, is still sh*t.

RF and Kicker amps have always been the cream of the crop. while there are companies that pop up that have quality equal or better, most of those companies come and go. I've been around the 12v industry for about 20 years. RF and Kicker are always quality. just look at the companies that have popped up in the last 5 years that had better quality subs, amps, etc... and look at how many of them are still around. You can't go wrong running Kicker or RF. The only thing I can say Kicker is a fault for right now is there are not in the PA sector, high powered full range amps sector, or a DSP with and EQ.

Ive had many kickers and I cant say that they are bad. Their are better out there of course but for the price they are not that bad.

I do not see L7s beating out any SA 12s or DDs in the lanes man. Their speakers aren't audiophile quality either. Look at Hybrid audio technologies, PHD, CDT, Morel, scanspeak, focal, rainbow, JL or hertz for speakers man. But still 75% off, cant beat that. Unless they marked it up like crazy. 75% off an item normally worth 400$ and is priced 1200$ 75% of that is still a lot.

yes I am. you put equal to equal power wise and the quality is there. also Kicker's power will be a 2Ω giving their amps a slight edge on efficiency.

as for the lanes, they aren't in the lanes now. they were a few years back. you don't see RF or JL in the lanes either.

for your everyday builds Kicker, RF, JL are all good choices. maybe for your extremes they lose out b/c only RF has 4" coil motors or high powered PA mids and tweeters. not everyone is going to be putting 4 18s with 40k watts of power in their vehicle.
