Help building mass/muscle

ok, I'll try to find someone who can work out with me and Ill go to the NEX and look at some protien powder/suppliments. Any recommendations?

I'll also start with teh pushups, although I hate them shits, thanks for the quick help.

dont swim lol i was 155lb then i swam 100laps a day for 2weeks and lost 30lbs and ive only gained 5 back from that 30 in the past two years... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

 
if u want to gain some wieght in the chest area...do bench then straight from that go to butterflies, then from that do barrel curls then pushups then do all of your tri and bi workouts then to shoulders, the do your squats, ect. that should help u gain weight...LOTS OF PROTIEN..and creatine isnt bad for u ...your body needs it to make muscle...your body makes it so it can't be bad for u...so when u are takin in more then your body is makin

just drink alot of water while u are on it...

 
IMO you don't wanna get all buffed and all massive. My cousin is massive and cut but has trouble to, you know... ...scratching some parts of his body. On the other hand my cousin who is a police officer is solid, cut and clean. It's all up to you though.

 
im kinda in the same boat, about 5'9, 135 lbs. Been tryin to gain weight for the last 2-3 months and just cant do it. I take protien, lift weights and eat like a mother.

I think the problem is that i need heavier weights.

One prob though, is i bought the GNC brand whey protien. It was good for a while, then started burning my chest like it was heartburn or something,, wtf is with that?

 
I would like to start working out soon, very soon. I am very skinny, so skinny that I am embarrased to tell u how skinny I am. Anyways, I would like to gain atleast 30 lbs on the day summer starts. Not just in fat, but also muscle. So does anyone think its possible? I have about 20 weeks so and I plan to sign up for the gym next week, Monday. I really have never worked out except for lifting very light dumbells (maybe around 50 reps each arm). Where should I start?

Sry to hijack ur thread but this was all related and I didnt want to have to create another thread since after all, this is a caraudio forum, not a bodybuilding forum.

 
Ive been working out for 2 months steady also and ive seen quite a bit of improvment...ive heard about doing a few things to increase mass, eat as many grams in protein as you weigh every day and use Creatine if u want...

Im 6'3 and weigh 225.

 
Check out the bodybuilding.com forums for all the information you need. Creatine really is all the same. Don't let the name and hype draw you. Kind of the same with car audio. Just make sure you are getting mirconized creatine from companies like Creapure. I use the generic Optimum Nutrition Creatine and it works great with about 15g a day. Right now, I am 18, 6' 3 215 and at the moment am only taking creatine and whey protein (ON as well) I am seriously considering competing in a year or so. It really is all about eating though, probably 90% actually. My intake is about 4500 calories 220g protein right now, with 6 meals a day, but you need to slowly get there, you can't just start eating that much.

Work out a weekly routine. I myself have a four day split which works great, but it is different for everyone. Again, those bb.com forums are your best friend for beginners.
