Ok, I guess I will give a short run down of my upcoming set-up. I have an '06 Dodge Durango w/ 160A factory alternator. As for my amps, I will be running a Crunch GP3000D-Pro on the subs (2 RE Audio SE15's), this amp is supposed to put out around 2,800 watts when given proper electrical. I will also be running two sets of separates off the other amp(s) which I have not yet determined yet, let's just say (2) Crunch GP2350's which are 175Wx2 each, or 700 total RMS watts. So, maybe 3,500 total watts. I have been told that I should use a 200A fuse for the Crunch for whatever that is worth.
As for my use of the system, purely personal enjoyment, no competing, or running for any length of time with the car off, or anything like that...I am just looking for something that is capable of being very loud and decent sounding while I drive. I don't want my lights dimming to non-existent, or losing tremendous amounts of power to the amps.
So far I am definitely doing the following:
-Big 3
-Upgrading factory battery
So, what else do I need to run this correctly but without overkill?
thank you,
ryan
