Help Audio Problems!

Hi i went 9 days ago to get my car audio hooked up. i have a 800 watt alpine amp and 2 12'' eclipse subs that are like almost 700 watts it can get up to 2000w, but any who this dude been in business ten years so i go to him he hooks everything up the next day the sub went out but came right back in, then like mayb 5 days later it kept going in and out so i took it back to him he puts a capacitor in and said that was the problem so ok fine today after work i get in my car and they out again! i stop to see if mayb a wire came out, that was not the problem so i look under my hood where he put a fuse and its melted and the wire is black. i went to a diff audio place a few min ago and they say the wire is to small. so i feel that this dumb a** needs to rewire everything for free do u agree?

i think its hilarious that he installed a cap when you were losing power entirely, what a moron, yeah check the gauge of wire, you should be running 4gauge at least I'd say

caps are useless... just do the big three... if you still have dimming, then look into ho alt, battery...

i just looked in my car he used 8 gauge wires and in the back from the cap to amp he used 4 gauge
