External voltage Regulator

I got an Iraggi Alternator that is externally regulated and am halfway thru installing it, got the alternator in fine but Don't know how to connect the external voltage regulator... any help would be great... and a diagram would be better... thanks for any help you guys can give me

Use at least 10 gauge wiring

1) Hook up the field wire coming off your alt to the field wire on the regulator

2) Hook up a switched positive wire ( preferably off a 25 amp relay ) to the pos of the regulator

3) hook up a ground to the ground

4) pray it works, as soon as you start the car put a dmm on the battery and check the voltage, when you start the car make sure the regulator is turned completely to the left ( like turning a volume knob down )

So which one of these is the ground, and which is the positive, and which is the field wire?

I just went and looked at it, I've got nothing written on it on any side, nor on the back, however there is a string of letter and numbers and some other shit, but none of it says ground, or positive, or field wire... ****... I'll see if the guy who sold it to me knows, sent him a pm while back but ROE has been down all the time, so I don't blame him for not being on

cameras dead battery will have pics up tomorrow afternoon

The writing is on the bottom of the EVR, on two silver cylinder shaped things, assuming they are part numbers or product numbers form the assembly line, they both say

"ON

MJ4502

MEXICO

BM0343"

So yeah, it's basically meaningless and is probably not what you were talking about, but other than that there are no labels and no writing on it at all

Hope theres a way i can test what's what, otherwise looks like I'm screwed unless I wanna buy a new EVR... go****itt... can't even drive my car like this... go****itt

lol as if that won't take forever... maybe I'll get lucky and he'll check him email this week... does any1 at least know what the middle one is for? Should be the same no matter which way u turn it... lol well I guess I'll send the email now

^^^Excellent diagram!By the way there should be a sticker on the side and instructions that came in the box.At least mine came that way.
I bought mine used... and thanks for the diagram, the orientation of the picture is enough for me to figure out which is which... hope this works!!

Let me make sure I have this straight, I understand the field wire and the ground wire, but for the positive, do I need a switch like the diagram says??? The blue swirly thing on the positive wire is a fuse correct, and does it say 15 amps? (A bit too blurry for me to read)
