can anyone recommend me or give me a their opinion.

i installed my HU about 4 months ago from stock.

Installed a new Pionneer HU and my subs and amp.

After the install i had some small distortion ( sounds like tapping. REALLY ANNOYING and cant hear the music clear but u can hear the bass)

fixed it a lil then suddenly stopped.

Now time later its horriable.

If i turn on my car.. Engine off its fine.. perfect really.

If I turn on the engine it starts actign up and really gay.

Im all ears to opinions of what you may think it is.

plz.. help.

I have to question your ability to accurately describe to us what's happening. You say its distorting, but then say its a 'tapping' sound. A tapping sound to me sounds more like the motor is bottoming out against the back plate. Turning on the engine would increase system voltage, and conversely power going to the speaker(s), thereby making it easier to bottom them out.

But your description of the situation is so bad Im honestly just giving you my best guess. I can say I have no idea why trixter thinks it is a bad ground, that would make the problem much more regular and predictable.

Are your speakers stock? If not, what are they? How many watts per channel is your HU rated at? I agree with the bottoming out idea, but more info/better description would help.
