HELP ASAP! Can This be RE-re-solderd?

Got this of deviousone. With or with out the mix up in the first place this still would of happened you can see the feed back post here.

there are pctures on there of what happened after 2 min play time, what the wire is.. and what it was said to be.. either way I will post pictures here let me know if this can be re-re-solderd or if I have to get a ****ing recone.

Compared to my 10" 8ohm depth Charge sub with MA Audio dust cap before install.

After 2mins play time... sjkdfkjdsahf

its not to close... you will have to remove the dustcap and solder in a whole new lead, easy fix

Might as well recone it then or have it look like shit

Needs a recone, it's too close to do it properly.

get some new tensil leads first

get a razorblade and very carefully remove the dustcap (dont cut thru the cone)

once you get the cap off desolder the rest of the broken lead

pull new lead (after you cut it to length) thru the cone and solder it to the coil

now solder the other end to the terminals on the basket

carefully glue dustcap back on

problem solved

x2 this is repairable see if you have a local speaker repair shop they will usually do it for 15-30 per lead, i had my local shop upgrade to thicker, better leads on my old mmats 10" cause the leads were fraying

A full dustcap will be the only way to cover it up. The dustcap probably isnt going to come off clean and easy.

if he has basic soldering skills and he very carefully follows the instructions i poasted... i dont see why he couldnt do it himself?

Edit/ps: You unloaded the sub which is why the lead snapped, might want to adjust your subsonic filter..
