green = ground

red = power

copper = connection

red rectangle = fuse...lol

above is how everything is laid out, I installed a 270 amp mechman alt, about 40' of stinger 0/1 pro series with copper lugs, 1 xs power d3100, a Sears Diehard platinum advanced Agm (oddessey 65ah, 930 cca).

I start the car and it reads about 14.0-13.9, then about 3 miles into my commute it stays around 13.7-13.8, but after the alt gets good and hot its dips and hits about 13.3-13.4, havent seen it go lower, but all of this is under a minimal load, it holds voltage under stress, its just low voltage...

im an amature, what can i do to solidify

i was wondering about replacing the diehard because of it being dissimilar to the xs power, could i run any xs power d series and improve my voltage and battery life span?

Is the alt still PCM regulated?

If so, that would explain why it charges so low hot.

Changing the batteries won't change a thing because you aren't in the battery power yet. Anything above your batteries resting voltage is alt power so until you drop in that range (12.8-13.2), you aren't even fully utilizing your battery bank yet
