Speaker sound as low as my stock now

Need help. I currently have install a 5 channel amp. With two pair of Polk audio db651 and a 12 inch subwoofer.p, kenwood dpx500bt. When It was first installed it the speakers sounded so loud and bright that it made my ears hurt at 3/4 of the volume. After a few months now the speakers sound like the stock speakers I used to have. They don't sound clear at all. The sub now over powers them. Is like they not being amplified by the amp.

Can somebody plz share some light on what might be the problem.

Blown speakers. No way you have a 5 channel amp that produces enough power to hurt you ears. What was hurting your ears is distorted sound.

worn out speakers from constant heat and medium to heavy clipping. Burned/worn down voice coils pretty much guarantees weaker response or no response at all.
