Have Box and Power, But What Sub?

I currently have a single 12" Kicker CVR getting around 450 RMS @ 2ohms. It is in a custom box with the specs 2 Cubes @ 34 Hz. It gets loud, but I am looking for something louder. With the box and amp I have now, what sub will get louder than my Kicker? Im really looking for SPL here.

Sub- 12" Kicker CVR DVC

Amp- Profile AP1000M

Box- Ported 2 Cubes @ 34Hz

I want something that will get noticably louder than my current setup. Any suggestions?

With the same amount of power it isn't likely you will gain much output over the Kicker woofer with another 12" woofer. If you were willing to move to a 15" woofer and a new box then it's another story entirely.

i agree, unless you'd go with like a 15" woofer those CVR's are pretty loud woofers for the power they get, maybe just get a 15" CVR and call it a day.
