I mean cone dettaching from voice coil or surround because of bad glue conection or ripping apart of high SPL.

Do all type of cone materials need the same glue?

We know CA is very strong but is this the one use for every cone type?

Aluminum seems to be the only cone material Ive seen to actually fail. But that was due to faulty glue on the spider.
i thought someone lost their sub in the car...snoop?

Aluminum cones have been known to fail from wear. think of bening an aluminun can MANY times to break it.

My DD cone has failed due to EXTREME situations. I've not heard of a Kevlar cone failing though.

the kevlar cone is a beast.

I haven't seen a cone failure yet...

hopefully eventually it will happen, just not to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

that makes sense about the aluminum.

do you know any pure SPL subs using aluminum?i don't..

but why a lot of companies still use it in high qulity drivers as TC?
