Pioneer TS-W305C 12" Subwoofer (400w RMS @ 4 Ohm): $60 new on Ebay

Pioneer GM-5000T 2-Channel Amplifier (Bridged to 380w RMS @ 4 Ohm): $110 new on Ebay

Box Materials: $35 from Home Depot

Wiring: $20 from Wal-Mart

Total: $225

the look on someones face when u say u only have 2 8 inch woofers= priceless...

edit:i know this is over your budget by about 40 bucks but if u save up and do things right....it would be an awsome starters setup....that amp if u upgrade can move to comps and get a higher end PG amp. add some 8's and your good. im running four right now...pics coming soon.

Thanks for the input. I was hoping to not have to make my own box, seeing as thats not really my thing, no idea what to do with that. I wouldnt mind them re8s. I just really want something until i save enough for an idmax and hifonics.

the PG i found on CBR prolly the zeb would have it as well... http://www.thezeb.com cbr is reliable, my friend got JL stuff off there NIB and wasnt a problem. check ebay as well. PG makes awsome amps from theexperiences my friends have had WITH PROPER SETUPS. talk to biabia he would be more than happy to build u a box......may cost a little extra though......prolly 70 or so. i couldnt tell u exactly it may even be 90 but mox building is a great time.

I have a Kenwood 12" in a box, along with a 600 watt kenwood amp to push it. They both work great and pound pretty hard. Please let me know if you are interested. I am looking at upgrading so I would probably let this go pretty cheap. Shoot me an offer. THanks-Sampson

no offense but dont buy that......if u do get a different amp....bazookas arent the best of that price range....i just got to listen to my 8's for the first time and let me say THEY PPPOOOUUUNNNDDD i advise u to get four in 2 cubes ported....u will be VERY happy with them.....i can only put my volume at 55 out of.......80.....everything is set perfect........they are **** loud.....they arent getting NEAR what my amp puts out.

The Bazooka isn't the most powerful amp in the world, but I have compared it to many high $ amps I own and it really is solid. The rumour is that it was made by the same OEM as the Memphis amps.

Thanks for the thread crapping. If he wants to offer me a lower price, then he can. I offered a decent setup, with all the install accessories, for him to consider. By the way, I included the shipping costs as well.
