Fallin' off? What were you running to make it happen?

I posted these in my thread a month or 2 ago. But when I mean a chunk I mean a chunk!

Depends on the car. A beater will be easier then a good car. I cant even get mine to move out of place.
I think a beaters would stay on easier as it would probably be lighter. My current car has a heavy rv and before my new winshield it would fall off 2-3 a year.

Haven't and don't really want to test this one.

I've had louder cars in the past and never had this issue. All of them were basic rvm's. My present cars isn't.

Mine doesn't.. but I have had friends with shittier systems than mine have theirs break off (or at least when going full tilit make it instantly extend all the way down making it unusable)

I guess my car is just boss made

same thing with the car i have now. i was testing my system a couple weeks ago and when i had my sub on 600 watts my rear view didnt move at all.

I just had to buy a new rear view.... The clip that slid over the metal mount on the windshield broke almost immediately after installing the system. Bought a new one that's way sturdier and all-metal. Still vibrates like crazy though... And I doubt I'm even hitting over 140. Windshield has some flex to it, though, so who knows? The car is an 05 malibu.

My subs are on 2400rms.. my rear view isnt usable when full tilt (cant see shit) but it doesnt move at all

My trunk is heavily deadened though, so that may stop alot of the vibrations moving forward thru the panels

yeah ill be running about 2k when full tilt. im curious to see what happens then. could be a whole different story.

Lol when I was running a zx1500.1 to 2 12" L7's in my eclipse the rv would immediately sag at the slightest turn of the volume knob. After about 3 months it finally just fell off and I left it that way. Now I'm running an 18" BTL on a Sundown 2500 and my rv in my Escape just hangs right on in there. Impossible to actually see out of, but stays in it's original spot nonetheless.

mine fell off once when I got rearended sitting still behind a school bus... I swear the old lady had her Murcury Marquis jacked back to about 60 on a blacktop road...she never checked up, I never saw her coming...she hit me square in the *** and pushed my back bumper to where the backseat was and I hit the school bus, knocking it 15 feet forward and shaving everything off the motor from the valve covers up...that old '69 mustang was about 6 feet long, but I walked away and still carry a scar on my forehead from the rear view mirror...yea, it fell off.
