i have a clarion dpx1001.1 ... has anyone used these or have info? are they stable under 1ohm? ive also read that the dpx line were designed by arc audio

on cardomain they have the 800 watt version and it says

With a built-in low-pass crossover, line or speaker level inputs, variable Bass Extender boost control, and insane 1 ohm load stability, this amp means business.

but then on the specs its not rated @ 1ohm? do you assume it will put out more power @ 1ohm? ... i just need something to wang my atomic ap/spl.... and its dual 1.4 so i need something around .7...

also would a rockford fosgate T10002 support 1ohm? its only rated for 2ohm mono (its a 2 channel)

also what would be a good price to ask for both

considering the 800 watt clarion is $400 on cardomain and the rockford t8002's are like nearly $600

I can't find much info on that amp, but I would presume it to be highly unlikely they were stable below 1ohm.

No.

Clarion and Arc Audio both used the same build house, UBUY

So most of the Clarion DPX (and APX) series amplifiers share the same boards with quite a few of the Arc Audio amplifiers.

But Arc did not design them.

From what little I've found, I haven't found anything yet that says the DPX1001.1 is stable below 2ohm.
