Going ported with a fs that high still kills the low-end compared to a normal, daily sub. It may not be that noticeable for most people, but since I have dealt mainly with subs that have a fs below 30hz, going to something that has a fs above 40hz just doesn't do it for me in a daily setup. It may not be that noticeable for most people, but I can tell the difference going from a sub with a 35hz fs to a sub with a 25hz fs in the same box. Granted, you can build the box around the sub better than I can do with a straight drop-in, but I'm just speaking from a direct swap situation.

True, I'd really love to try these in a spl situation, but I'm just waiting to get some good class-d power in my hands...I might have a coupld of crunch 3000d pro's coming soon...so I may have to grab a few of these to try out.

I just tried modeling 4 of these up, and you can get +-1db from 38-70hz with an 8ft^3 box tuned to 35hz...but you'll be 2db lower than the reference line in winisd. Going for spl it seems like they wake up when tuned above 55hz. I get a 4db peak at 65hz with an 8ft^3 at 60hz box...really not too impressive though. Granted, that's if the specs on PE are even right, and if the subs actually perform the way they model out.

Got 4 of them today, not sure where the fuck the other two. May have to give sexpress a call in the morning. Subs seem pretty stiff, I took a few pics. These pics are a little better than the ones on the website.

News is they haven't even sent the other two out yet. I called them the other day, I was so pissed. They sent 4 then they credited my credit card back for the amount of the remaining two. So I was like what the fuck I need 6 not 4 so I placed another order for the last two, and it is still not showing shipped.
