Heres the sub and a box would only cost about $40 in materials plus some time...
Your going to need a cheap amp as well as a wiring kit but it will be FAR better than that package crap...

if u are willing to run at 1 ohm, my old type-r I ran with a hifonics bx605 which i got for like $100, 600 watts @ 1 ohm... and it was very good for what I wanted

my friend is running a power acoustik amp to 2 L5's but I am unsure as to how their subs are, I am going to assume they arent very good

A step up from the Visonik package, but again, if you do some looking you can get something of better quality @ roughly the same price. If you want just a Visonik sub, you can get my 12 @ 20$ shipped. I would suggest the type-r, or even a type-s would be better than the 2 brands previously mentioned imo.
