That's the problem. My whole life can be lived within the confines of my home. That's where I work, live, eat, sleep, shit, f*ck, etc. I stopped bar hopping/partying a few years back and now I have a girlfriend that pretty much lives here. I just got too complacent I guess.

haha, of course! They're actually two towers my dad bought out of a guys van (white van speaker scam!) so the speakers **** dick but the enclosures are decent so I'm going to reuse them. Got all new Dayton speakers to fill em, 2 tweeters, 4 6.5's, and 2 10" woofers (in the bottom). The Dayton speakers are the black ones, the silver ones are the ones that came in it, and I replaced the 10's with some crappy JL W0's awhile ago, dunno what I'm going to do with those...
Those Daytons are nice looking, man. The towers look fine too. Basically what I was painting was the wooden flush mount area. The new speakers are like 1/4" smaller OD so a little of the wood was showing behind them and I'm painting it black. Went a little overboard with the masking tape, hehe.

No, your really not going to see what I'm painting. The rest of the tour already has a black texture and the top is a glossy laquer type finish. The old speakers were flush mounted, the new speakers are SLIGHTLY smaller, so around them you could see a tiny (like 1/8") ring of wood color. I just masked everything off and painted that tiny bit of wood so it's not so noticeable. I taped off the factory paint because it's decent looking.
lol, I know, but it's easier to work on and right now it's getting a lot more use than the car...

haha, no biggie. Ordered my crossover parts yesterday, custom built 3 way crossover for it. Got my 500w bash amp today too. It's got one of these waiting for it...just needs an enclosure
