has anyone done an suspension mods to their car? specifically lowering it. does it run fine with you box in the back? im planning on lowering my car and dont know if the box would contribute to the lowering in the back.

it depends on what type of suspension u do but i have a 2003 vw gti with h&r coilovers. the back is **** low. The car is very stiff with this setup so extra weight really doesn't make it bottom out or anything. with me sitting in the trunk i doesn't move a cm in the back and i am 6'1 240 pounds so.

i lowered my car 1 1/2" inches with eibach springs....it sits lower in the back with my subs in the trunk. doesnt hurt ride quality any at all. with the subs out sits even front and back...looks **** good too.
