How did anyone get to the alternator bolt....? (even the alternator)

just did my LS400. It was a pain in the ***. Had to do it from under the car. I was replacing my alt anyways since i got a HO Alt

Yeah, you have to go under the car. There is a plastic cover over the alt. bolt.
