alpine m650, 2 re8" gains????

hello, i have 2 re 8'' dvc @4 and an alpine m650, two 3.5 sealed boxes

the mono block amp is rated 400wrms at @4

if i wire the subs to it @4 they each be getting 200wrms, can anyone tell me how i should set my gains to keep the subs in safe operation? much apreciated

i paied 200$ for the amp, is it worth it? havent took it out the box yet and figure ill check before i do...
