Handheld O-Scope Help!?!?

I have a Velleman HPS-10 and i dont know how to use it. I read through the manual but i still am confused on how to set a gain?

It is pretty straight forward, what issue are you having?

I think i should set it to A/C volts and 20volts/division. Then i can just hook my pos @ neg to the ouputs and look @ the wave.

I can also set it for rms volts A/C

hook it up, turn it on, hit "Auto", play a tone. make sure you have the contrast set so you can see something on the screen
