had an epiphany about Chevy Cavaliers.

I hate cavaliers because they're pieces of shit. Every single one of my friends who has one hates it. I like my van, and so do my friends because it's awesome as a college car. 7 of us will all jump in there and go to little rock or to the movies or something.... it's got a nice system, it's comfortable, and everyone enjoys riding in it rather than a little car. It is a soccer mom / grandma car, though. I've learned to accept that.
i drive a grandpa cruiser too so don't worry about it. idk why people get so fascinated with cars. if it gets me around that's all i need. i don't care if i can get up to 60 mph 3 seconds sooner.

Chevy Cavaliers **** ***. Seriously.
Have you ever met someone that says, "Man! I love my Cavalier! It's so reliable, it gets great gas mileage, and it looks great!"

No.

Every Cavalier owner I've ever met hates their car. Every single one. They all complain that it's unreliable, the interior's falling apart, it gets bad gas mileage, it looks crappy and has no power.

I've also noticed that every single Cavalier on the road has dents and scratches on it. And I think I've figured out why. Only a shithead would buy a car that looks crappy, drives crappily, is unreliable, and isn't durable. So, since shitheads are buying the Cavaliers, that means shitheads are driving cavaliers, hence all the dents and scratches, missing hubcaps and stuff.

I say all this because my friend followed me to school over the past 2 days, and her Cavy is a piece of shit. And she is a shithead.

Odd, I had a 1992 Blue cavy with a 5-speed 2.2l. Was best can I have ever owned, got awesome milage, exterior and interior were perfect...best of all, it got to 300,000km's without having any maitenence. That was on original clutch too!

Well, I did have to wash it, change the oil and other fluids...and I guess care about it...Pretty big tradeoff...

Dad still sports in a 1994 cavalier convert. Is all original and has over 200,000 miles on it. Only thing ever needed replaced was a couple sensors in the dash. Car needs some breaks on it now, but has had those replace many times, lol! I will say it is a rust bucket, cause he never washes his shit. But still drives decent. He will drive it till it is nothing but frame, lol!

people want cares they don't have to take care of and i guess that's were GM fails. i had a grand prix with 187,000 miles no problems, i had a grand cherokee with over 250,000 miles no problems, and my current car has 151,000 miles

they really do **** though... greatest day was when a jeep rear ended my white 93 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Your grand prix was GM.

Its just about taking care of your ride, pure and simple. Hell my mom had an older VWbug with over 400k on it and she sold it for 300 bucks to her friend and she drove it off a cliff. It would still be running if it wasnt for that.

I am more a Ford man now a days. But I dont get into the whole GM,FORD thing. Hell I have owned so many vechichles I could probably have strated my own used car dealership. I have owned foreign and American. Some I hated, some I have loved, but one thing is for sure, I have never and will never own a caravan or anything like it.

Well that one Nissan isnt too bad looking.

i only owned one ford and that was an 89 ranger. mostly all gm except for my jeep, but i don't have this thing about one being better then the other. i tend to like mostly gm cars as ford doesn't have anything appealing. i do like the focus cause their cheap and good gas milage

Yeah I have a Focus St, which is the car that discontinued the SVT hatchback. I get ok gas mileage when I am driving highway, but my city which I do more now being I live 4 mins from where I work sucks now. Car is a 5 speed too and sounds mean as hell. So I tend to get on it quite a bit. Funny thing is my mom bought a Mitz Eclispe GTS in 2002 brand new and she paid 27000 for it. Well I ended up losing a car in bankruptcy so she gave that to me and I just recently paid he off about 4 months ago. My focus kills it in just about every aspect. Eclispe is pushing right around 240 hp to my Focus which is about 180 now with mild mods. I just find it funny beating a sports car at the strip in what could be considered a grocery getter, lol!
