They aren't THAT bad.The interiors are not the best though.A couple people in my family own them.And, they HAVE been reliable.They do have a lack in power.They do get decent gas mileage.

They are usually all dented because people get pissed when shit breaks and hit the car.I know, because I've been the before lol.Trunk lock wouldn't work, kicked it and there was a decent sized dent left.Whoops. . . . . . . . stupid aluminum cans.

i'd rather get a diesel jetta thats where its at. excellent mileage. Has nothing to do with GM at all. They cost more but w/e.

Actually I loved my 1999 Z24 when I had it. Yeah it has that cheap interior feeling, but the seats where comfortable to fit my big *** in. I was running high 12's with mine with a 50 shot of NOS. Put about 2500 into the eng. and was spanking most of the cars at the strip. I knew who to pick out and race though, lol! Mine also did get decent gas mileage. I lost some with the 99 due to me always being hard on it, but my 2002 cavalier did good. Usually get close to 400 miles a tank. Anyway I never once had a problem with any of my cavaliers and owned 3 of them. People did like to hit them and then run though, lol!
