Had a visitor while building boxes (must read)

looks bad *** but dont lie.

you know your buddy was right behind you looking over your shoulder with a marlin 450 lol

i also live and florida and when we go riding on the variou bike trails we have come across several bears. funny part is sometime they sit by the trail almost like they are watching for fun.

the only scary thing i have had happen with wild life here was we were riding the ridges out at hard rock and a florida panther walked right in front of us and stoped. we all froze and slowly turned around. these trails are not made for stopping and only has a 2 foot ridge with a 50 foot drop on both side so with no place to go we did not like our odds. he never took his eyes off us for a second.

hell ya im game. are yall beer drinkers ?

Holy crap! Are those things dangerous? As in have they ever been known to attack people by mistake?
"My dad has told me all my life not to dangle my feet in Big Lake (Calcasieu Lake) because his first cousin, Ben King, was terribly wounded - with nineteen tooth holes - when he dangled his feet off a pier in Lake Charles in the 1920s when he was about 18. He and Raymond Dunn, my dad's brother, skinned it and tacked it to their aunt's (Mabel King Kelly)garage. Daddy says it was there for years -- on land where the main post office in Lake Charles is today. Daddy says he also remembers a fishing guide getting his hand mangled in Bayou Bicone (sp?) - a bayou about half way down the shore of Big Lake."
yup

WOW! actually i think they were alligator gar, never knew they grew THAT big though. thats pretty scary! those are probably deeper, i didnt see anything that big. the river is probably 30' deep maybe more in the middle. darrrkk green water too... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

Alligator Gar stick to large reservoirs and rivers. Most of the ones you find in lakes are long nosed , short nosed, or spotted gar. I wish I had a picture of the 2 coolers full of long nosed gar we caught one day fishing. We would just break their snout off with pliers, and throw them in the cooler. Friends of ours would deep fry them. Never had gar myself.
